Just bought gtx 1050ti windforce (without 6-pin), and idk if i should buy 1024p square monitor instead of 1080p to save up some dollars, i mean does it really worth to get 1080p? the price difference is around 22$, i know 1080p means better quality but it also means less fps and this is 1050ti not 1060, so im confused.

also is it a must to use HDMI cable? i mean does it make any difference if i use DVI instead?

The 1050Ti will still output at 1080p very well, it might not be able to do super ultra graphics on everything but it will still be able to push most games at pretty good quality.

Go with the 1080p monitor.

Hello,

I have the GTX 1050 Ti SC from EVGA and I'm running with no problem 1080p. I used to play some CSGO and I get 100-300fps depending of the map paired with a i7 7700K  I would always get a Full HD monitor.

I used to run a 1050ti, it could max older games at 60fps, and get decent framerates at medium to high in newer games, on my 1920x1200 60Hz monitor.

Go with the 1080p monitor.

Sync RGB fans with motherboard RGB header.
