Hello,

I am currently in the market for new omputer speakers.  I do not know many brands other than the big names like Bose, JBL, Logitech, etc. and I'm sure these are probably marked up because of the name.  My budget is up to $150.  I would like one that produces a nice, clear, deep bass sound when watching movies or playing music.  I am currently using a Logitech brand speaker that I have had for many years (2 speakers and a pretty decent subwoofer).  The speakers I would like does not need to come with a subwoofer, as long as the sound produced is sufficient enough.  I was looking at the Bose Companion 2, which looks pretty solid for its price point.  I was wondering if any one had other suggestions that they are using or have used in the past that they really liked.

Thanks!

A subwoofer is going to be a must for smaller speakers, unless you get larger self-powered ones. It depends on how much space you need.

Otherwise I'm going to throw this in the lot: https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-ProMedia-Certified-Computer-Speaker/dp/B000062VUO

I have been using ue boom mini for years and that thing is like a tank.

The sound quality is very good in my opinion and it is the best 99 bucks I have spent.

For this reason I recommend something from UE.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.
