Hey all,

I've been looking for a laptop that would be good for my IT and programming I'll be doing in college. I wanted to see if I could find one that I could game on as well, though that wasn't a priority. So I watched some of LTT's videos and found this laptop.

I'm looking at the one that's the most expensive right now, but I just want to know if this would be good for what I want. Thanks in advance.

looks decent and the 1050ti is quite capeable of gaming at 1080p as long as you dont crank the setting up all the way. Price is good aswell. It has a nice selection of ports and it doesnt look to "gamery" so it can fit in nicely in class. Can recommend.

I agree on "it doesn't look to 'Gamery'" which is why I like it so much. And I have a gaming PC as well, So I can do all my "Hardcore Gaming" on that. I just wanted something that would allow me to do some gaming on the road. Maybe play Fallout NV/4 on the drive up or when I'm waiting for my next class to start. Thanks for the help!

as long as you dont chase after high refreshrate or amazing textures and such the 1050ti should do the trick

Don't get the most expensive model.

Get the model with IPS + i7 + 1050ti and get the rest of the components like ram and storage yourself. cheaper that way.

I didn't realize there was a second page, so I might have caused some confusion. I'm planning on getting to one that's currently priced $999.99. I understand that it would be cheaper to upgrade, but this money is coming from a grant and I'm not sure whether or not I'm allowed to buy parts to upgrade.

If you do plan to get the Dell Inspiron 7567, I highly recommend opting for the IPS panel that they offer as their TN panel is plain awful.
