Overclock Crashing?

So i recently got 3 gtx 1070's for mining at my house and im mining zcash but whenever i try to overclock it even the tiniest bit it crashes the computer.

I have a EVGA superclocked gtx 1070 currently running stable at 1620 MHZ

what overclocking tool are you using?

"May your frame rates be high and your temperatures low"

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

you sure your gpu is seated correctly? also, have you installed the up-to-date drivers for your gpu?

Whats your psu? Did you do a clean install prior to getting the gpus? Try the display driver uninstaller or whatever its called.

its probably a power delivery issue, you might need to tweak the PCI-e voltage and/or increase the power threshold to each card

where the hell are you gonna spend it?

anyway, claymore version what? ...not familiar with EWBF.

Also, no need to OC. in fact, drop your power limit to around 60-70%, crank the Memory speed.

Over kill PSU 750W where without overclock it runs at 400W ( i plan to add more gpu's) Yes a brand new clean install of everything windows 10 and new drivers ect  and what do you mean by uninstall display driver

Currently trying to mine Zcash so memory clock is not a big priority for me i want the core clock to increase but when i min ETH i do crank up the mem clock and it is stable

DDU, aka Display Driver Uninstaller. it's a program that removes every trace of a particular vendor's software and is always suggested to be performed in safe mode.

But zcash is based off clock speed so why do you crank the memory core speed will increase the sols more than memory
