Ekwb compatibility

Hello there, I was wondering if the x99 Xpower mosfet block from EK is compatible with the x299 Xpower AC mobo? It says it is on overclockers.uk, but i want to be sure. Maybe an EK rep can answer?

If not, anyone tested generic mosfet blocks from like koolance on a x299 board yet?

It works on the X99S Xpower AC.But I woudn't buy this in the first place as 99 percent of the time people don't need it

Hum seems weird, or maybe ek didnt update their list on that item because its an old product.

Vrm temps are terrible on any boards currently available when you go past 4.6ghz. I was waiting for apex/extreme release which was due end of july but they keep pushing it back for no reason and its now due in september so fuck that.

I'm not aware that the X99 mosfet block is compatible with the X299.

 

I will send an email to our R&D Chief but Monday and Tuesday is Holiday's in Slovenia so I will only get an answer back on Wednesday.

I got a reply and OCUK is wrong.  It's not compatible.  We'll let OCUK know and ask them to fix it on their webshop.
