My friend is thinking about buying an amd 1600/1600x. He needs motherboard that is oc verified, so wich motherboards are overclockable in amd's lineup

A good cheap x370 mobo is the Asus prime x370 and a good b350 is the Asus prime b350 pro

Yeah, I really like the ASUS Prime X370-Pro. I've bought it for about 125€ on sale.

The B350 one is called Prime B350-Plus, not B350-Pro.

He should get a R5 1600 since the X isn't worth it. In addition to that the 1600 comes with a pretty good stock cooler. But of course he needs a better cooler if he wants to push the CPU to its limits. I would recommend you a B350 board like the ASUS Prime B350-Plus but try to find good deals on X370 boards like I did.

Can't they replace the plus with atx rather than plus and add micro atx to the micro atx one
