Gaming Chairs...

So I've been looking for a gaming chair. After being advised to not look for racing-style chairs, rather office chairs, I've narrowed my options down. They are as follows:

 

Office Master OM5 

Herman Miller Aeron (pricey, but if it's that great I can wait a bit longer)

Vertagear Triigger 275/350 (is the 350 worth the extra $100 anyways?)

 

Any other suggestions would be nice, but these are the best ones I've found. If anyone has had experience with/owned one of these chairs please don't hesitate to leave your impressions. 

 

P.S. Not sure if this post belonged in peripherals, but it seem the only one even slightly fitting.

the herman miller aeron is good. but i would look for used ones. while that might turn you off you still save a lot, and the Aeron lasts a very long time 

 

that said i would try to find an office store or something and try those chairs if they have them

Oh of course. I do schoolwork at my desk the other half of my time. Actually probably more than half.

I have a gaming chair, an Arozzi something. It's quite nice actually but the lumbar cushion is way to big and the build is pretty garbage in some aspects. Works great and looks great though, but probably like half the cost or less then the chairs you are looking at

See, I've been warned about the racing-style chairs. Really... since I sit at my desk all night and afternoon after school I'd prefer a nice chair that'll last me at least 5 years.

This one will fail me in half that time I'm guessing, but it's really nice to sit in once you remove the lumbar cushion or find a place it's comfortable. I don't see why racing chairs would be that bad for though.

They're all straight backed and not really great for posture. I mean... they're comfortable to lean back in but not really to sit up in, as there's not much support. Plus they sorta curve your back forward.

Sure it's straight but it's no worse then the chairs I had at my job at the city planing office a few weeks back, they were curved and just made you lean out of them all the time, make for an even worse posture. Either way these chairs you mentioned are probably vastly beyond any chair I have tried.

Us poor chair peasants...  Mine is a metal Walmart folding chair.

Well. The chair I'm using has some rips in the leather and it was previously my dad's office chair (like... 6 years ago). I figured I might as well get something I can use for a long time. Apparently these "expensive" chairs end up being worth the initially hefty price tag.

I can use my dad's about 3 year old office chair, but my floor is carpet and I'm too cheap to get the roller mat things for office chairs.

I mean... I use my chair on carpet. Plus those things start to crack and break eventually (I used to have one).

If you can wait go for Aeron, used it for few months. Worth more than it costs. Yes I know what I wrote.

I am getting an Aeron. Are the tilt lock and lumbar support worth the extra?

That's subjective. It was worth it for me, so to say. Mind you I used it at work.

Idk if its too late to share but Ive owned my Maxnomic Dominator for several months now and absolutely love it. 10/10 would buy again
