OVerclocking 6600k

[Intel HD Graphics]

I am tryign to overclock my 6600k as high as i can get it, i am using the z270 k6 mother board from asrock. i can get 4.4 ghz as a preset but when i go up to 4.6 ghz it blue screens on startup. is there any way i could get a better overclock out of my cpu ?

No, In the mother board bios there is just an option to change the cpu clock speed options range from 4.0-4.8. i think it might do the voltage by itself. Not really farmiliar with overclocking cpu's

There should be an option under OC tweaker for Voltage configuration. You can control the CPU voltage from there.

What do you reckon i should set the voltage at, i have never really overclocked a cpu before, just finnished building my new pc a few days ago so i am still kinda new to this stuff and would really appreciate it if you could walk me through this.

I would say 1.3v @ 4.8GHz

Depends on your cooling and how hard you want to push it, but keep it under 1.4v. These two videos should help (Different boards, but same steps):

Yes, Only OC if its not the Stock Fan.

I dont have a stock fan, but it isent much better than the stock fan, but now that we are on the topic of cooling what is the best air/liquid cooler for under $100 NZD

I have gone to oc tweaker, do i adjust "CPU Vcore Voltage"

Fixed mode wold be better to find a stable frequency.

So i did fixed mode, turned the voltage up to 1.3 and put it at 4.6 ghz in the preset oc menue but then i did a stress test and got this

May be unstable, back it off and re-try.

Depends if your cooler can handle it, do try to lower it back down after (Find lowest stable voltage).
