Just change the text colour

Sorry for the slow reply, I got caught up on other things.

Select the cell you want to change colour (G5) and go Conditional Formatting  >  New Rule...

then select Use formula to determine which cells to format

click in the text entry field and then click your cell to detect (F5) then finish off =""

Pick the formatting you want with Format... (make it white text).  That way if F5 is empty, G5 will go white, otherwise it will be visible.

Do you want it to just appear blank (change text colour) or actually become empty?  Because how you would do that are two different ways (both are pretty easy tho).

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

One more thing, how do I copy paste it to another row, or do I have to manually do that (row for row a new condition)?

Ah, yes, that is a bit more troublesome.

Select the cell (G5) and go back into editing (Conditional Formatting  >    Manage Rules...)

Click Edit Rule...

In the textbox, modify the line from =$G$5="" to just =$G5="", removing the $ sign between the G and the 5.

Now, click OK twice and notice the green square in the bottom left of the selected cell (G5).  Grab that and pull it down as far as you want, and it should extend the formatting all the way so that G8 will change based on F8, etc.
