Which config should I go for?

might only overclock if I go with r3

Mainly playing Paladins, League, Rust, Shadow of Mordor, The Division, and not too many demanding titles.

I'd spend the extra on Ryzen for future upgrades, though the performance between the two isn't actually that different.

The Division isn't really the easiest game to run ;)

Do you need it to be priced like console or costs like a console?

If the latter, you can get a cheaper case.

I would go with R3 build, more cores are useful

Most games will show a sizable improvement going from anything under 4 to 4 cores, and many will show further improvement going up to 6 and/or adding HT/SMT.

ie, don't get less than a quad core

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
