Hello,

I am building first PC for my cousin. He's about twelve yo and he just send me GPU and i have to choose the rest of it. We have budget from my uncle about 25000 CZK it's about 1120 USD. Will the R3 1200 bottleneck with that 1060? Should i try to push budget and buy R5 1600?

And little bit out of topic. What do you think about Evolveo PSUs. Any personal experiences? I choose Corsair but i am just wondering :-) ...

THX for every respond and sorry for my English.

Ryzen 3 will be fine. What Corsair PSU did you choose?

depends on the load. if this is a simple 1080p60 set up, i highly doubt it'll bottleneck.

Ryzen 3 CPUs aren't bad choices

Bottleneck? Depends on games

Also, choose a good quality PSU.

If the GPU is excluded from the budget, you can go Ryzen 5 1600, 8-16gb DDR4, 120 gig SSD, a proper PSU and a 1tb HDD

the R5 1600 will stay much more relevant for a much longer time. Its not a lot more money to get an R5 1600 over an R3 1200.... that being said an R3 1200, especially if you do some overclocking to bump up that clockspeed, will be plenty for 60hz 1080p gaming in pretty much every title out there today. You may experience SOME bottlenecking in a few titles with the 1200 (assuming you overclock it to a decent 3.6-3.7GHz+), but its not going to be significant enough in any instance for me to recommend you adjust either the GPU or CPU on that merit alone... not if you don't have the budget for it.

There is two versions. The 2017 TXM and the old TXM. Same name, one has a color label, the other is grey.

It's impossible to get 1070 for this price in Czech Republic. I think there is some kind of duty or not?
