what could cause a white/gray screen crash randomly mid game?

hi, my computer has been crashing whilst playing games eg: 'war thunder' for the past day or so. neither me nor my friend can work this out and its really bugging me that i cant play games anymore without my computer crashing and shutting down. Has anyone got any ideas about what it could be and before anyone asks, yes i have pushed all the wires in correctly. My thermaltake versa h15 case has only the blue LED on where there is usually a flashing red LED also.

Hey, welcome! Are you using an overclocked GPU? Is this also brand new or a little older? Thanks.
