Need help with narrowing down choice of X370 mb

Hello

I have researched about the X370 mother boards and have come down to these choices based on watching tons of reviews from different sites.

Asus Hero VI, Gigabyte Aorus K7, MSI Titanium, Asrock Fatalty, Asus Strix, Asrock Taichi

Seems that these boards are great at over clocking.

Cant decide which one because they all seem simillar.

I want in a mb, good overclocking, stable vrm's, 6 sata ports and one nvme m.2 connections is enough for now, good sound, good amount of usb 3.1 a and c (still dont know what the big difference between gen 1 and 2 is), usb 3.0 connections, good fan connectors, at least one or two from this list: debug led, clr cosmos button, dual bios, maybe bios flashback, onboard power and reset button.

I had a Z97 MSI gaming 7 mb before that had dual bios, and I think clr cosmos. It helped, the board ended up being defective, but before it completely died, when one bios went out, I had the 2nd bios to continue using the computer.

Is the debug led, clr cosmos button, dual bios button, bios flashback button, onboard power and reset button necessary to have a good board? Which of those features are best to have?

Which mb out of the list above would be best to get.  I am not going to overclock crazy trying to get to 4.5 ghz etc on the board, dont know if Ryzen can get that even with crazy overclocking.

Computer will be used for 3D design, graphic design, content creation, animation, rendering and last gaming.  I plan to get a 1600x or 1700x.

Maybe I should get a low end Threadripper? The one below the 12 core one.

K7 (I think they have dual BIOS) or Tiachi. ASUS makes great boards, but they're more expensive than other's for some reason. And MSI boards don't get along with Ryzen very well.

So both of those boards are good to get? MSI is having trouble with Ryzen? Didnt know.

Do you think its worth having dual bios, or should I look at other features more?

Depends on what you want. I'm most likely going to the the K7 (not the Aorus one, the plain black one), since I like the features and the RGB outlining around the RAM slots and stuff. The Tiachi is a great board, but IDK how it'll go with my color scheme.

Yup. They're better, but aren't as good as the competition (the exception being the B30 Tomahawk).

They call it an Aourus on Newegg, and it's a few bucks more. IDK why, it's the Gaming K7 on Gig's site. Here it is: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128997&cm_re=k7-_-13-128-997-_-Product

Not as good as not stable or is it the vrm that are less good? Because it's the only silvber x370 board right now :P

They have memory issues. IDK about the Titanium specifically though, it's a flagship (and beautiful) board, so it may get better BIOS updates. I dunno.

Hopefully you don't. I think Austin Evans got one at launch, and I don't remember him complaining about it.

The clear cmos is on every board, it just may be a jumper instead of an actual button

The debug led is on every (I think) high-end board

And for flashback and dual bios, I don't know, I never had to use them

You should be fine with any high-end mobo, but I think Gigabyte's are the ones with a dual BIOS, and I prefer them. They're not too expensive, have the beautiful jet-black PCB MIS boards do, but without the RAM issues, and are overall great boards. Plus, RGB.

Basically, pick one that have the features and looks you need, and go for it. Thanks to the way we buy stuff nowadays, you can just return it if it breaks or you don't like it.
