1440p gaming monitor WITHOUT G-Sync

Does such monitor exist? Because I can't seem to find one.

 

I recently bought a 1080Ti so I'm looking to upgrade from my 1080p 144hz monitor, but I am not a huge fan of G-Sync 1. because I find it pointless and 2. It adds to the cost of monitors. All monitors at 1440p 144hz either has Free sync or G-Sync, with the former being cheaper than its latter counterpart. Yes I could just buy a Free sync monitor but I am still wasting money on features I don't want. I've yet to see a monitor with these specs that do not either of these syncing technologies.

FreeSync does not cost anything to add to the monitor, so monitors with FreeSync are no more expensive than they would be if they didn't have FreeSync. That's why it's called FreeSync. That's also why you can't find any newer gaming monitors without G-Sync or FreeSync. There's no reason for them to make a G-Sync version, a FreeSync version, and a nothing version, because the FreeSync and nothing version would cost the same and the FreeSync one can serve as a normal monitor on any non-AMD graphics card anyway, so a nothing version would be a redundant and ultimately worse-value product.

Interesting, I read up on G-Sync and FreeSync technologies beforehand, and not once did I read (or perhaps I accidentally skipped over such detail) about FreeSync not costing extra to include in a monitor. Problem solved then, guess I'm going with a FreeSync monitor, thanks!

Well it doesn't cost any more to manufacture, of course the vendor can charge whatever price they want for the monitor, but for the most part they've come in at the same price. For example most 1080p 144 Hz FreeSync monitors are around $200-250, which isn't any different than what the same spec monitors cost before FreeSync came along.

Ha, in Australia the cheapest gaming monitor (1080p 144hz TN no FreeSync/G-Sync) costs $379, cheapest 1440p gaming monitor goes for $500+ RIP.
