the GPU is already good enough, overall the system should work well unless OP wants to do high-end work, then a ryzen 1700 will be better, for a better GPU 980ti or 1070 should give you a good boost.

Like nerdslayer said, you already have a pretty solid workstation.

 

If you want better though you'll have to move to a different platform and get a Ryzen 7 CPU (though you could take a 5-15% performance loss in gaming depending on your resolution or game). Personally I wouldn't bother unless you're really serious about video editing or you just want to upgrade anyway.
