I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I heard many people like the 2013 version when they used cherry switches

I am currently having the same issue with the actual tactility feedback with the 2015 blackwidow tournament. Keys like 'Insert' and 'page up' ect which aren't used as much feel really crispy but the most used ones like WASD now have a very subtle reverb and the keys feel like the bottom out a lot, and are not as crisp in the clicks.

However I think that from the 2013 to 2015 switches were made by a different company from I think china and since then Razer has gotten better manufactures to make there switches as this issue happened to a lot of people.

yay.. :[

I once did the unthinkable, back many headphones ago...

I split an audio split, again

do you think if we complain to razer they will replace it? Because its kinda unfair that we got crap keyboards with horrible quality controls, build quality is nice, just the switches are trash

The cherry boards were just expensive, not shit. I have tried one with blue switches and it was ok

I have a Razer Blackwidow 2014 and my bottom arrow key sounds like a cherry red when I bought the one with Razer Mechanical Green switches (essentially cherry mx blue with high actuation). Since it is only a sound issue I don't think they will be willing to give cover it under warranty. Have you signed up for warranty via Synapse?

I've got a 2014 Blackwidow and it's pretty much fine.

The only key I know of that's screwed up is my Enter key because something got into the switch (prolly crumbs; I eat a lot of chips) and caused it to stop working, but I fixed it by squirting some non-conductive electronics cleaner into the switch and blowing it out with compressed air.

The result is it no longer clicks, but still feels smooth and works fine. It still has a defined actuation point, the click just isn't as tactile anymore.

I used to have a razer keyboard when they were using cherry switches.

I've never had any problems with it.

But I did have 2 double clicking deathadder though.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.
