Does anyone know of any good alternative options to the htc vive and the oculus?

I was also thinking about the Oculus DK1

i didn't finish this video im like 50% the way there, but it sounds to be alright

The Pimax has a lot of issues. For gaming uses, only the Playstation VR is currently an acceptable alternative (and really only makes sense if you have a PS4 and no gaming PC). For non-gaming use, the Windows "mixed reality" headsets from Acer and HP are solid alternatives.

 

The Oculus devkits lack software support and are just pretty crappy by today's standards. Especially the DK1.
