I'm in the market for new headphones, used mostly for gaming and streaming/video recording. Now, pure sound quality isn't my biggest concern, but comfort is, as my ears have been plagued by heat and zero ventilation. If you have any suggestions, they would help me out a lot!

Style doesn't really matter

Try to keep it under 40 USD

Fabric covers?

I want to be able to wear it for ~2 hours at a time

An included microphone would be awesome

The Hyperx Cloud II is an excellent option at 99 USD. However, the Cloud Core is basically a basic version of it at 65 USD. Both options are excellent, as I have the Core right now and it's super comfortable.

Logitech Headsets actually kind of suck until you get into their higher range headphones in the $150 range.

I'd go with something from HyperX for what you're looking for they are the best value for that price range.

Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus, 32GB Cosair Vengenace LP 3600mhz, EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra,  Sabrent Rocket 4 1TB NVME SSD, Crucial P3 4TB NVME SSD, 4TB Mass storage, EVGA 750W G2, NZXT H9 Flow

Do spend more money if comfort is a priority or buy speakers.

I recommend:

- Philips SHP 9500 (fits loosely, but nicely ventilated)

- Beyerdynamic DTX 910 (earcups might be a little small)

- Audio Technica AD 500X

BUT even the most expensive headphones will make your ears sweat and become unpleasant after 1+ hours. There's no way around it. You just have to tolerate it.

On the other hand, a cheap set of Logitech desktop speakers offer unbeatable comfort for not physically being on your head. The Logitech Z200 sounds pretty darn good, especially for $30.

I use these over my $100 headphones because I really appreciate not having sweaty ears and the sound is almost as good. I just lose on bass quality and some details.
