Power supply noob

How do i know whether my mobo requires an ATX or ATX12V power supply?  I don't really know what the difference is and I don't want to kill my mobo because I got the wrong one

You got a waste of a motherboard. Your CPU can't overclock and your motherboard can. You got a bad CPU at this price range.

You should of went Ryzen man. But since you already have the board please at least get the 6600K, you got an overclocking motherboard, but not a CPU that can overclock.
