OneDrive in FileExplorer

Hello, so in Windows 10 OneDrive likes to put itself right under your quick access files in Explorer, however I removed the OneDrive app and noticed that the icon for OneDrive and all the files remained, however the icon that OneDrive used (the clouds) has been replaced with the standard Capture.PNG.4e319b2e9ad491a28b4c9c285539a31f.PNG

 

I've installed the app from the app store again but that hasn't even given me the tray icon back. How do I fix this?

I can't help if you don't quote me. How am I supposed to know if you need my premium support? Now starting at £399.99 a year.

I want the icon back and the system tray icon back. I dont like OneDrive at all but I would rather have the feature be fully there than partially there.

There are two versions of OneDrive. The "desktop" version and what I will refer as the "mobile" version. The mobile version is the one found at the store and uses Windows One-App-Does-Every-Bloody-Platform packages. I.E WUP. This means it will run on Windows 10 machines, 10S machines, XBOX, and Windows Phone. This also means its probs crap, because its not a full desktop app, even possibly not even (x86)

Basically the one you installed is a SEPERATE version. Its microsoft, its supposed to be confusing.

I know. However before you download you probably could get rid of it all together, try YouTube. I probably should have said that erlier. My bad :)
