Rx460 Driver Troubleshooting

The driver decided that today is a good day to get replaced by a windows generic driver,

Any driver I tried from the AMD website does not work.

I have contacted AMD and they basically told me to fuck off.

So yea....I'm having a great time

 

 

PS.i have uninstalled the driver with DDU and it did not work

Wat hebbens wen you instal the "Automatically Detect and Install Your Driver"  ?

Wen you google the error code. wat ceeps coming up is that you need to reseat the gpu. Maby try a ather 16X slot ?

just reseated it, its been detected now but i still get the error 43, i think its mostly the drivers

And wat das the driver tel you. I mean windows can do windows things. reinstal windows maby ? thats why you need linux  ;)

As in ? you can reinstal windows and not lose you files or just back it up to your HDD. And if you ar scard that you lose your key maby i have a legit spare key

I want to keep the refreshing windows thing as a last resort, I think there must be a stable driver for an rx460, there cant be soo many problems with it and amd acting like they dont see it, there must be a solution

I dont think its a driver problem, i think its a window ting becas normaly its ( drivers -> windows -> Hardware ) how we trubelshot.  as you try al the ather things i realy think its windows that dit it.

 

Also you see "Today ... replaced by a windows generic driver,  " why didt you have normal windows grafics drivers and not AMD ?

I have an amd gpu,booted up the pc and instead of the normal drivers i had they have been replaced by a generic windows driver

A i cant read yes, Stil think its better to instal windows again. You can try and look in windows updates some times you can get drivers out of thare. (i now nvidia drivers for sure )

I just found some WHQL drivers and going to try my luck with them
