I had a corsair 280mm cooler that was on my i7-7700k at 47ghz. My temps where in the 70's to 90's under load and around 40c idle. I upgraded to this cooler:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J4ZG6RC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

now my temps are in the low 60's to the high 60's under load and 25c at idle.

Bad cooler?

Corsair link says pump was at 2,000 to 3,000 RPM in the performance mode and fans working.

i7-7700k @4.8GHz

Asus Maxmius IX hero

EVGA GTX 1080Ti FTW 3

850w EVGA PSU

32GB corsair LPX ddr4 ram

It was either low on coolest, full of dust or the TIM had gone.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Pebbly low on coolant or there was some air in the system.

Agree. My h80i v2 was on another system with same CPU and same oc with same voltage and was getting the same temps with my new deep cool one

This is why I don't water-cool, And the issue with it being an AIO too, is that there isn't much you can do without voiding any warranty and there is no guarantee that it will go back together.
