I primarily use my headphones, but on the off occasion I'm watching some shows far away from my computer it would be nice to have some cheap speakers I'm talking like <$30 as I really don't think I'll use them all that often. Is there anything tolerable or half decent at this price?

TBH look on Cex/Gumtree/cashconverters, especially on cash converters you can get like £100-200 speakers under £50. I made them an offer of £50 on Logitech Z906 and they accepted so if you dont mind used, go to them you'll get some quality speakers for cheap.

You may want to look into mpow bluetooth headsets or similar because $30 speakers are just that cheap and sound so too. Even a good soundbar will cost more. If you are looking to get a good deal on the cheap, try a pawn shop, this is not to be confused with a porn shop.:P

Disagree. The Logitech Z200 sell for $30 and they sound good. Definitely better than most $30 headphones and way better than a tiny Bluetooth speaker.

For $30, your best bet is probably the Skullcandy Navigator. Or Tascam TH 02.

But even a good set of desktop speakers from Logitech sounds better.
