Did you guys see the AMD Holocube? if not then here's a little picture of it.

That was revealed at LTX 2017, its basically supposed to give you notifications on drivers and notify you about new games and stuff.
Personally I am quite confused about this "Holocube" as it doesn't seem really necessary although as a collector's item it would be cool but it doesn't seem all that good for practical use.
What do you guys think of this thing? was it a good idea? let's talk about it.

but probably won't happen.

have read a statement that they don't have any plans atm to ship it to anyone/sell it.

I really don't understand this thing. Like I understand how it works, and how cool it is, but I don't understand at all what made AMD decide "We need to design a 3D holographic display. Use a pyramid display? Nah, let's waste a bunch of money engineering a product we'll never actually ship in any significant quantity."

They already "wasted" a ton of money on all of those Threadripper press release packages.
