Hello,

I recently bought a 650W PSU because my 500W did not provide enough power and I'm going to need a lot now that I am going to SLI two 960 SSC EVGA cards. Unfortunately, I was told 650W was not good since my overall usage is 493W and I should have more watts, and I found out I do not have enough 2x4 Power Pins to power both cards and the CPU. I found online this thing called Add2PSU which in theory should solve my problem, but it seems somewhat sketchy. I am out of money after buying these upgrades, so I cannot afford a more-watt PSU even if I sell both my current PSUs. Is this a good idea?

Thanks

Your power supply is sketchy as hell considering it has no brand name or anything.

A Corsair CX550M should be fine and is cheap.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
