ryzen works much better with faster ram, ~3000mhz is a good price to performance, check the manufacturers site qvl list.

Honestly wouldn't get a m.2 ssd unless it actually takes advantage of the faster interface. The 850 evo does not so you would be better off getting the 850 evo SATA drive and leave your m.2 slot for when you get a better m.2 drive.

i'm sticking on $1000 budget... the m.2 has more better performance than the sata ssd while they are on the same price. I'm not planning to expand my ssd memory

How significant is the difference to the performance?

3000Mhz is rare at my location, and if there is, they cost $40 more than the 2400MHz (without the shipping fee)...

No it doesn't. Unless it is the Samsung 960 EVO ? Otherwise the 850 EVO SATA and M.2 versions are about the same speed.

10-15% depending on factors.

That's what I'm trying to say. They are the same speed but one takes up a m.2 slot while the other takes up a sata spot. If in the future you want a nice m.2 ssd you would have to get rid of your 850 evo m.2 to make space while if you had a sata 850 evo you would have plenty of space for a m.2 drive or more sata drives. I mean if you really want the m.2 drive go ahead it will save you some space but you will lose out on being able to get a m.2 drive down the line without having other replace a drive.
