Going back to school, I don't want to deal with making two or three stops to a locker every day. It should have a nice open space for at least five 2.5 inch binders, and good separate spaces for a laptop and various books. I would like to keep the price under 70 USD.

That's a lot of stuff. I would recommend this bag which is 6 feet long and 2 feet wide. It will definitely fit all of your stuff. https://www.amazon.com/Ledmark-Heavyweight-Cotton-Canvas-Outback/dp/B001MFNKVS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1501542962&sr=8-1&keywords=giant+duffel+bag

Why do you need to carry so many things? You if you are planning to carry all your binders for all your classes, I would urge you to reconsider. You can make do with a single 2.5in binder and have dividers for all your classes which will contain only the more recent stuff, and store the rest in binders at home. Also, you can get digital versions of your textbooks, which will shave off tons of weight.

However, if you still want to get a backpack for all this stuff, check out some of the hiking backpacks https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=dp_bc_6?ie=UTF8&keywords=large backpack&node=3400471. They are usually very tall, so you can stack the books and binder. There won't be a dedicated compartment for your laptop, but if you keep it in a sleeve, it should be well protected.

Maybe go with something like a Northface Router Transit.

https://www.thenorthface.com/shop/router-transit-backpack-nf0a2zco (you can find it cheaper if you shop around, I paid $84 USD for mine)

I'm planning on using this backpack for school. It's got enough space to hold my 17" laptop, as well as any notebooks and text books that I'll need.

Might I suggest you lower your budget, so you can afford a chiropractor. Not sure you will find anything. Maybe look at Swiss Gear. Thats at least what I use.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
