Alienware 15 R3

I'm thinking about buying alienware 15 R3 (1070 one). Is it a good option? Or any other good option? I travel alot and need a good laptop for gaming, programming and little editing.

Its good but I want a gtx 1070 and a 2.5 inch hard drive bay and its camera is in a wierd place

That alienware is a good option but it is 3.5kgs and with soldered cpu/gpu. You could also consider these laptops with a gtx1070 mxm upgradable:

-msi gt62vr 7re,

-clevo 750dm2 (desktop cpu bu my suggestion is for delidded cpus)

The gt62vr looks pretty good.

Its very nice. But battery life is shit. Does have a mxm gpu. Up to u. 

 

Alienware 15 is the only 1070 laptop with a decent battery life.

Thought that Dell canned the decent battery life with the addition of g-sync, you still think it's decent enough after that?
