USB Mass storage device has a driver problem.

Go to solution Solved by mrdeadguy34,

God damn it. I replugged in my phone and allowed my computer to access it and now its fine.

Sorry for wasting your time :P

It says my usb mass storage device has a driver problem but I can't update the drivers as they are the latest any help?

In addition I update my RX480 drivers and when i went to restart my pc it simply got stuck at the press f2 to enter bios and took many restarts to eventually get into the bios where it then booted. Now in windows my mouse seems to randomly have a delay sometimes could this be related to this issue?

What sort of error are you encountering specifically? USB Mass storage has been plug and play for OSes since at least 2005 so you shouldn't need drivers.

I just get this http://prntscr.com/g2ktkj (yes ive tried to apply the fix it just fails) . Im not even using a Mass storage device either.

First one was no help and the second one wasn't either as all 3 files were there.

There's an option on the bottom to delete some file called "infcache.1", did you try that?

No thats only if you replaced the drivers right?

Should I even try that?

It wouldn't hurt to try. Otherwise I could poke around for other answers.

I'd also try seeing if the drive works on another device.

I don't really wanna delete stuff if I dont know what it is tbh.

As I said before I dont even have a mass stroage device on any of my USBs I dont even know why its showing up. Is it my keyboard or something?
