1080 vs 1080ti

I am looking to build a computer and need help deciding between a 1080 and 1080ti. I am using the computer mainly for 3d design and programing aswell as light gaming(csgo). The resolution i will be using is 3440x1440. Will a 1080 be enough for my need and above 60fps gaming or should i get a 1080ti

Light games at 1440p the 1080 will have no problems. although if you can afford it I would recommend a 1080ti :P

1080 should be fine for ultra wide 1440p, Vega may also be worth considering.

1080ti is roughly 30-35% faster than a 1080, that is, it can generate that many more fps (assuming no CPU bottlenecks). up to you if you think that is worth the extra cost

If all you're playing is CS:GO, even at 3440x1440 a gtx 1070 would be fine for that and still get high framerates.... graphically speaking that game is a joke and it was designed that way on purpose. if you're playing more demanding AAA titles though, I would highly recommend a 1080ti if you can afford it since you will want all the fps you can get if you wish to play above 60 fps.
