Did I kill my power supply?

On my old motherboard, it wasn't posting so I decided to do a lot of stupid things like remove the CPU power cable while it was still on and put it back in the CPU power connector on the pc. When I did it I heard a 'pop' like electricity jumping.  I got a replacement mobo and CPU but the debug lights for CPU are still on. 

 

The rest of the system turns on but the debug lights to CPU are still on. Could my PSU be at fault?

Normally the fuse will go first.  Then you should have no power.

 

But it should have a safe mode on the newer PSU, so it restart normally if the fuse did not go.

 

Do you have a electronic tester.

You can test the PSU.

 

Search on youtube how to jumpstart a psu with out it connected to the mobo if you dont know how to.

 

you should get 12v 5v 3.3v + and -
