As long as your carrier will activate it and if you like it its okay, it wont explode like the 7

EDIT: Its a unlocked so Verizon, ATT, Sprint, etc should activate it

I'm happy with my Note5, It did everything my Note3 did and brute forces badly made apps much faster compared to the Note3.

The only limitation is HEVC video (1440p) support but likely thats a (non-default) codec issue I've not found a fix for.

Everything else has been a breeze, is super fast, and with my Wireless HDD, my limitations are taken care of.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I don't know what works with what... I'm not telco-informed

Mine was unlocked, works in Australia on Optus/Telstra/Alternatives just fine.

Note 5 is still a very good option IF YOU DON'T NEED A SD CARD

SoC is powerful, with Samsung's SPen,5.5"display and other stuff makes this phone a good one

Just consider if you have a need for SD card and buy it

and to be honest,my personal first option is S series because I need a SD card for my photo and app files but there is a little need for a pen.
