Awkward phone stuff...

Hi,
So I recently gave my number to someone... only to have them not text yet.

Yes. This is an awkward topic for me to say the least.

I'm meeting up with the person briefly again tomorrow (for about 5 minutes)

What do I say to the person in regards to the phone number?

Its kinda difficult as i don't have their number(But I dunno if the person wanted to give it to me in the first place)

And in addition to that (It just gets worse lol), I'm not very good at conversations. At all...

Any advice would be awesome!

Maybe they were busy. Maybe they just didn't have anything to say. Maybe they're not interested in you that way. Maybe they're shy. There's loads of reasons why they wouldn't text you, I wouldn't worry about it after only a day. I wouldn't say anything about them no texting you, it just makes you sound desperate and a little odd.

Furthering one's understanding of social interaction is a pretty meaningful thing to care about.

You should've straight up asked to exchange numbers. If you try to mask things, it shows her you have zero confidence in yourself, which is bad. But don't be overconfident or you'll look like an ass.

Right all you can do is wait for that text back or straight up ask her number again the next time you two meet. Be patient. My girl (we're not in a relationship or anything at the moment) is very quiet and keeps to herself, so I start all the conversations. But we still enjoy each other's company. (At least that's what I think cause we had a good time hanging out together.)
