Now it's too late and you've lost your windows license.

 

You're gonna need to contact microsoft support and tell them what happened and hopefully they will get you a new key and activate windows for you.

When asked how many computers, say 1 (which is correct), and it will deactivate the old license and allow you to install the new license :)

I never bought a new license I’m still using the old one

Yah, it works the same.

So long as you have entered the original key it will work.
