I'm planning to get the following build:

Processor: Intel Core i7 4930K or Intel Core i7 4960X Extreme Edition (Not Decided)

Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Superclocked 3GB

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16Gb (2x8Gb)

SSD: Samsung 840 Series 120Gb & 250Gb

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3TB

Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl

Motherboard: Not Decided

Cooler: Noctua NH-C14 All-in-one CPU Cooler (Not Decided)

Theme: Black & Blue

I want you guys to review it and give me feedback on it! Please Recommend Motherboard and Cooling solutions. I want it run it as an Hackintosh + Windows 7 or 8. I'm planning to do Editing/Light gaming. (I want it to be able to run games in very high resolutions without a flaw, cause I have OCD, when it comes to visuals.)

P.S. This is my first ever build!

So you'll be running only dual channel memory on a X79 platform make sure you use the correct dimms. X79 accepts up to Quad channel memory kits

Why are you going with "120Gb & 250Gb" or are they both options for Raid 0 maybe. Also why not get a SSHD best of both worlds and you don't need to cache 60gbs of ssd storage to a 3tb hard drive?

I recommend a NZXT Kraken X60 CPU Cooler. Runs great for overclocking. I can run a 4.2GHz overclock at 30C idle and 65C on full load with my Intel 4670K

I'm planning to use my already existing Apple Cinema Display as a monitor. Don't really have any room in the budget for a high res display.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only a GTX 1080, just a single 1080, where my glorious PC once stood....

For that is all I need, For the Emperor of Man, Jen-Hsun Huang, protects. We march for Nvidia, and we shall know no fear!

As much as I like Noctua, I do like to have more overal performance with the Kraken x60 then the Air cooler

I haven't really decided on the motherboard! And as for SSHD, they are not available at my local PC shop, so that why I went with SSD + HDD.

SSHD's are really not worth the money. The pricing are a bit horrid and are only good in select situations.

I am currently considering the X79.....

What kind of editing do you do?

Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

Your current build looks needlessly expensive and overkill.
