Hi

I want to upgrade my old rig because the processor is a 3570k and just cant handle the games anymore. my budget is around 6000 DKK = 940 USD. The GPU and PSU are working fine, so i dont need a new of those. i use it for playing Overwatch, Assassin´s creed, Far cry and Battlefield. my monitor is a 1080p 144hz. I live in Denmark, so if you want a website to see the price in Denmark, www.komplett.dk is probaly the best place to go :D

You've got 2 options...

1) Find a second hand i7 3770K on Ebay

2) Move over to a new platform

Are you sure you can't just overclock the CPU? Or are you running a high end GPU on a low resolution monitor?

:)

i have already tried, but it is not enough. the GPU is a R9 290x, i get just below what a 1070 would give me with same resolution and settings :D
