I am building a PC, and my HDD, a 1tb seagate barracuda, is not being found by my BIOS, a Ga ab350 gaming. I confirmed the SATA cable and port on mobo works, and the drive spins up. When I tried to install windows, the installer detected the drive, but did not allow me to install to it as the bios doesn't recognize it. To be clear, not only does the drive not show up on boot list, the motherbord sees the slot as empty. I don't have a drive so I can't install an os. The bios is up to date. The SATA is set to AHCI, and there is no option to switch to IDE.
