NVMe ssd supported by sata mobo?

Found ssd online that has a great price and speed but has a keying of b + m and its NVMe. My mobo supports says it supports Sata ssds. Can an NVMe ssd work on a Sata ssd?

What is your motherboard model, if it only supports sata speeds you will not be able to run an NVME SSD unless it is through a PCI-E adapter card in a PCI-E slot.

Ah ok it's a laptop, it's hard to say if it's NVM-E capable but from it's stock configure they only have a sata SSD so most likely not.
