That's why most people store games on hard drives

HDD storage is at a really good price atm. You don't need SSD speeds for them games you hardly play.

 

(and I've got no issues using an HDD to play arrr vids)

Yup. In Steam, go to Settings, Downloads, Steam Library Folders. You can add a new one from there.

Might I suggest a nice 1-10 TB hard disk.
