Hey guys so I have a pair of 980tis in SLI (as you can imagine I get my fair share of issues running an SLI setup...). Lately, ever since I updated to the newest drivers in late June, I've been getting some really odd issues. For example, half of of my screen will flash for a split second and then it will go back to normal, even when the cards arent under stress. I can't figure out how to downgrade drivers so it's getting kind of annoying.

I guess I have 3 questions:

1: How do I download the old drivers?

2: Do yall think this might be a hardware issue? Imma be pissed if it is because Im heading off to college soon and I have no money lol....

3: Have yall had any similar issues with this new driver?

Thanks...

1-https://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers/beta-legacy for older drivers

2-It may be a hardware issue but not having an SLI setup myself its hard to tell you, but nvidia have had some issues with drivers lately anyway so I would not worry.

3- Yes, my 550TI had so many issues with an update that came out the other week, had to boot into safe mode and remove the driver so I could boot into windows 7.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

By chance....

Can you describe the half screen flash in more detail if possible.

Driver Downloads - On Nvidias website for driver downloads, using those dropdown lists selections for Series/Model/OS, it will take you to a 'results' page, but you need to use the advanced search to find older drivers.
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Of course man:

In random intervals the bottom half of the screen will either flash black or white, sometimes it's random colors as well. They happen so quickly that sometimes I barely catch them. I also have a 2 screen setup, I should have probably mentioned that.

Just imagine how it looks when someone unplugs your tv cables while the tv is still on, except it only happens on the bottom third of the screen.

Are you having similar issues?

I think I have..

Way more in-frequent and could be my imagination..

My second monitor to my right, I keep feeling like I've just missed something flash on it (a few times this month now), and when I saw this thread it pegged my curiosity.

Using Driver 384.76 (Win8.1 x64)

Now that you mention it... its only really happening on my second monitor as well, and it happens very rearely (maybe once every 30 minutes)

Im using the same driver as you but on windows 10
