What DX does Doom 2016 use

Doom 2016 is OpenGL and Vulkan. It doesn't use DirectX at all. And Vulkan isn't compatible with anything before GCN (https://www.amd.com/en-us/innovations/software-technologies/technologies-gaming/vulkan#)

OpenGL may also still be spotty on AMD cards. ATI/AMD traditionally performed worse than NVIDIA on that front.

Ok now it's time to try and find out if I can undervolt my 770 enough to a point that I get to play games without it crashing

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile
