The charging port affecting the touchscreen

So I had replaced the charging port-board for a Lenovo A2019 tablet and it can charge again, but the touchscreen no longer works? I've seen somebody with the same issue on an iFixit thread who has received no help. The screen works, everything works other than it not being able to recognise a touch? I can get it to work by resetting it a couple of times, but once the tablet sleeps, it no longer recognises a touch.

 

Any comment is appreciated.
