You mean SLI? Sadly, that won't work with NVIDIA cards (I think AMD has something similar with Crossfire though), SLI can only be done with the same NVIDIA GPU, different GPUs won't work.

would it be worth just buying another 1050ti or not seeing as i got mine for £150

No... Maybe you need to check some actual benchmarks of the two?

Low-end cards don't do well on SLI/Crossfire configurations, would be a waste of power.

I have a cex around the corner from my house. also if i am getting an atx would it not have two gpu inputs and therefore run both

not all board does that. you need to check if it is SLI enabled and only most high end board have that feature

also only same gen gpu can be SLI like 1050 ti and 1050 ti

despite 1060 and 1050 ti are similar they are not gonna work

but anyway you can SLI 970, 980 but 1050ti and 1060 are sadly not supported by SLI, only 1070 and up works

Do you think i would be better off getting an intel or to stick with amd .

I am also wondering if the new setup is gonna be okay with my psu.

AMD is the value king now. yes your psu is fine wattage wise but it would be good to know the model name
