Hey guys, how are you?

To start with i am well aware that 1060 beats 980m in most cases and it runs cooler. But what if the deal was too good? Considering the price range of 1000-1100 pounds which you can barely get a 1060 3gb variant with i5 some companies selling their stocks with i7-6820hk.

Here is a good example:

and closest rival from the same website:

Ps: I am about to drop some serious cash on a custom build gtx 1070 laptop but it hurts to spend so much money in one go -_-

i suggest a laptop+ desktop unless you need the portability

Desktop prices seem to be same with equivalent laptops. Yeah you get like 15% or more performance out of it but why not have a monitor + portability for the same price ?

The Acer Helios 300 and Lenovo Legion Y720 comes (also, Clevo based laptops) with GTX 1060 6GB at a fairly low price. However, if you can find a laptop with 980M under 1000 Pounds, you can get it
