after windows os update anything taht isnt vsync is super choppy

so basically i usually play without vsync, because minecraft still feels smoother with 500+ fps even on my 60 hz monitor. however, when i updated windows anything that isnt vsync was SUPER CHOPPY, i mean choppy like unplayable. even if i set my fps to 60, which is was vsync is, it was still super choppy.  when i used vsync, it was like what it use to feel like before the windows update, so vsync hasnt changed. the game i tested is minecraft.

What are your specs? Have you tried reinstalling Intel/Nvidia/AMD drivers?

gtx 1060 and i7 6700hq i have not tried that i will retry it now tho
