hello

in windows 10 lock screen (when i turn on the computer), when i move the mouse, it stutters/lags across the screen.

also, when i type on the keyboard in the password field, it does not fluidly show each character (black censored dot), but shows a few, lags then shows another few.

any ideas? thanks

Has happened to me a few times, most notably after installing an optical drive. Hasn't happened in a while though.

Does it always happen?

Id like to know if there has been a fix to this particular issue.  Never had this problem until a reinstall of windows 10 creators update.  Same everything as before but i notice that when i RESTART my computer i get the network list manager reports no connectivity to the internet(event id 202) and a connection to windows update blah blah blah(event id 200) errors but only upon restart but i can deal with that because its bs..... everything is fine.  HOWEVER when i do a shutdown and power back up I do not get these errors but what I do get is complete and utter lock screen stutter.  Mouse is completely lagged out and typing in the password goes so very slow and its very annoying.  Once in windows though everything is gravy and smooth and there are no errors in the event viewer.  So i do not know if this lock screen issue is in conjunction when NOT receiving the network list manager error or what.  I just think its weird that my options are to restart and have those 2 or maybe 3 errors(sometimes event id 201 is in there as well) having to do with internet connectivity or shutdown and reboot to a terribly stutter ridden lock screen.  Figured I would list both issues seeing as maybe they are related but if someone has any information I would truly appreciate some elaboration because i have tried everything even another reinstall and i still end up with these particular problems.

there was nothing i did to fix it. it sort of just fixed itself.

must have been some sort of nvidia or windows driver issue.
