I think it's just part of the Youtube app.  It's a subscription service.

Open the Youtube App, click your account picture in the top right, and select Get Youtube Red.

 

Honestly I don't see any point in Youtube Red.  Spotify is so much better.

You forgot about the 'exclusive shows' such as : Escape the Night! A long drawn out dramatic fake TV show that couldn't get on TV with people with no acting degree or experience!
