Can't install steam Ubuntu 17.04

Hey, guys

I'm having this issue when I try to install steam:( see image)

I tried downloading it from steam website, from the terminal, the ubuntu software center installer and followed various sites on how to fix, but no success

that's not an image. that's a file without file extension at the end

It just says "you don't have the following 32-bit libraries, and Steam may not run: LibGL.to.1" or something like that.

Well I usually install Steam on Ubuntu LTS version since there's less issue.

By the way I can't see any image?

Steam requires 32 bit binaries. I'm not on my computer right now but it should not require hand holding to execute apt search libgl. It will either be mesa or your gpu driver. Add :i386 on the end like the post above to get 32bit.
