Fans RPM Question

LorelynF

Hi Everyone,

I just want to ask - is there anyway to increase the RPM?

Before, I am using the built-in fans from my AIO, it was advertised to have a maximum RPM of 1700, but on the software (Asus Ai Suite) it seems it can go up to 2300.

Anyways, I remove the built-in fans from my AIO and replaced it with RGB Fans, unfortunately - it has a maximum RPM of 1400 which gives me 78c CPU temperature on 2K Gaming, Very Low quality preset.

With the built-in fans from my AIO, I am getting a maximum of 65c on load.

I think I just made the temperature worst.

That said, is there any way to increase the maximum RPM of my RGB Fans?

It is the Thermaltake Riing RGB.

The AIO I have is the DeepCool Captain 240EX.

My CPU Clock Speed is only 4.2Ghz, Intel i7 4770K.

Any suggestion guys?

:(

Can you put the built-in fans back on, and set the rad up as a push-pull config? or would that take up too much space?

I can't do push-pull config with a very small case. :(

Oh... IDK if there's a way to increase the RPM of fans over the max. Are they running at 100%?

Yes, 100% at 1400 RPM :( Looks like I will have to return the original fans from my AIO. Sad.

Are there any other RGB fans (Corsair, NZXT) That are high static pressure or have a higher RPM?

To be honest, I have zero knowledge about the fans when I installed these one. LOL. Too bad that I have to remove everything - again.

Anyways, is there any RGB Fans with high RPM? Preferably with at least 2300 RPM.

Not really. On PCPP, they all seem to be around 1400-1700 RPM. :(

This is the fan of my AIO http://www.gamerstorm.com/product/CASEFAN/2016-03/1289_4923.shtml on the site- it advertised to have a maximum RPM of 1800 but when I was using - I can crank it up to 2300 RPM using Asus Ai Suite. I don't know how but my RGB Fans seems to really have a maximum RPM of 1400, even on the software.

Hmmmm. Can you run them higher in the BIOS?

Hmmm. From the stock photos, it looks like the mobo is down far enough that you could win a push-pull config. Can you just log the fans under and see if they fit? That'd solve your problem without needing new fans. Nice case BTW, DeepCool makes great stuff from what I've heard.

For starters, you can't run fans over their max rated speed. Or you can, but really don't want to. Overvolting fans will kill them fast.

Secondly, 78C is still fine for temp considering you are living on the hotter half of earth.
