You should clean install windows to fix your corrupted OS.

If you upgraded to windows 10 from 7 or 8, or you cloned your drive, then that's probably why half your programs didn't work after the creator update.

OMG !!!! AMD WAS PROBLEM, THEIR NEW CRIMSON RELIVE 17.7.1 DRIVERS ARE PROBLEM, i installed older version ( 17.4.4 , recomended by amd ) and it fixed the problem :D:D:D :D

After i updated windows with creators update when i try to run any java game or program it would come up with something like this hs_err_pid*Some Numbers*

I have attached 2 txt files to this article, hs_err_pid6332.log is Minecraft and hs_err_pid10104.log is Airships Conquer The Skies.

I have noticed that both of this files have this line in them :

Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows

I have 2 PC`s, 1st is my main PC that has this problem (It got it when i installed creators update) and 2nd PC that does not have this problem (it also has creators update installed)

When i installed creators update 50% of my game and programs did not work. There were some updates that installed that fixed this problem in most games and programs, i dont know what it installed but it helped. Some games and programs still didnt work but i just reinstalled them and they worked again but reinstalling java didn`t fix this problem.

I was searching for this on the web and i didnt find a solution but i found an article that said to search for "View Advanced System Settings => Advanced => Startup And Recovery => Settings => and change automatic memory dump to small memory dump (256kb)"

That kinda fixed my problem but i would need to restart my PC when i wanted to launch any java program. I was doing that for a while but then that stoped working so i changed it back to Automatic Memory Dump.

I don`t know what else i should try to fix this.

Please anyone help and thank you :)

Ok , i decided that i actualy would reinstall windows BUT i dont want to lose any of my files .

Does it remove all installed programs from "Programs And Features" in control panel and will i need to install C++ , DirectX, Java and NETFramework again ???

I am sorry for not knowing this, i didnt think that i would need to reinstall widnows so i just forgot it.

Thank you

Yes it will remove everything, so any config files of settings of your programs will need to be found and saved somewhere else.

Your files will also need to be backed up somewhere else.

That's not how you do a clean install.

That's called a refresh, you don't want to do that.

Here are the steps to clean installing: https://www.howtogeek.com/224342/how-to-clean-install-windows-10/
